This book is in three major sections: Academic Skills for Students; Tips for Parents, Teachers and Counselors, and; Learning Disabilities (primarily Attention Deficit Disorder or ADD). The book is in a handbook format, very easy to read and apply. Most of the NLP language has been deleted and also most of the fluff that gives size to many books. So, anybody can use it without any specialized training.
To date, it has been used by students of all ages--grade school to college and adults in corporate learning centers, adults wishing to go back to school, teachers at all levels, and parents and counselors of students who struggle in school.
The book was authored by Dr. Don Blackerby in December, 1996, and has been translated into four different languages. It is used world wide to help struggling students to learn how to excel in school.
